An improved version of the Early White Spine, which dates back to the late 19th century. This one is from Wetzel. It is a medium size slicer, good flavor, medium green with lots of white at the blossom end. It is not a prolific producer compared to modern cultivars, but good for home gardeners who wished to pick a few each day.
