A hybrid from Harris Moran, who offrs this description: "Chiantiís large framed plant has globe-shaped and slightly flat heads giving it good weight. It is uniform in size, shape and matruity and has a concentrated harvest period. Chianti has excellent vigor for a quick stand and good holding ability. It proves great results for fresh market and processing."
