I have had my plant four years. It did not do well in full sun so I moved it to a container in mostly shade. It's a slow grower. It has delicate dark green top-dark purple underside leaves which are heavily veined. It blooms continuously throughout the year. It rarely drops leaves and is frequently visited by butterflies & bee's even though it's under a shade tent. Once established it requires a minimum of water.
