From Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania. This is marvelous landscape specimen forming small trees with closely spaced rosettes about 12"-15" in diameter, often showing a lot of red in the leaves. Flowers are either orange or BRIGHT red and tend to shoot off laterally on solitary racemes, with all the flowers pointing straight up off this stalk. Rare in captivity, but well worth it if you can find one!
