I don't know much about Hosta's; but I like this one because its small, cute, and holds up to the heat and humidity of Houston, Texas (zone 9a) very well. Fits in nicely with tropical plants and bulbs too. This is second year on this one (photo above) in the ground; and I don't know the size its supposed to be, but its still very healthy looking even if it is small.
