This plant was given to me by a lady in Savannah, she got rid of it saying it was prone to rust. I have not had this problem yet, and have the plant growing 2 years now in my hot, humid zone 7b/8a yard.

Tho the fragrance is light, it is very floriferous! The info was hard to find on it, but was found for sale at Joiner's Gardens where they described it as:

" SAVANNAH SWEETHEART (Joiner, J. 2000) Dbl-Ev-M-Re-S40"-B7"

"We call this our pink Emily Hawthorne. The same magnolia form is shrimp pink. Large bloom on tall large scapes is lightly bowl shaped with very ruffled petaloids. Scapes have 4-way branching and 24 buds."

Love it!
