This is a relatively common species of Cussonia in cultivation, and is usually grown like a succulent in a xeriphytic landscape. It has blue-green-grey leaves that are highly dissected, serrated and ornamental. It is a slow grower and performs well as a bonsai specimen, getting a somewhat swollen trunk base. IN colder climates, can be deciduous.
