An orange fleshed cultivar developed at LSU. I am greatly dissapointed in this cultivar. It is excessively viny, has a proliferation of long skinny roots, but very poor yield of potatoes. While this year has been a trying time for all crops. Carver produced 4 times the yield and Violetto which is not noted for yield doubled the yield of Hernandez. The hills that yielded a potato turned out one nice one, but some hills were empty.
