Occurring in disturbed areas, indigenous from New Guinea, Indonesia, the Philippines, New Caledonia, and Queensland, Australia. Subshrubs 1-2(-3) m tall. Flowers are gold (Yellow-Orange). The flowerpetals are dark red veined.
