small shrub to tree native to Polynesia (and Madagascar?).. has fragrant white flowers and large mango-like fruit (don't think it's edible, though)- saps are very toxic alkaloids- even used as arrow toxins. No information on hardiness, but does fine in zone 10a-ish in Southern California in shade.
