A pinkeye purple hull with a more compact vine. A 1999 release from LSU. 6/25/08 These were planted the 15 th of April, when the ground was moist. From May to the present we have had 3/8 of an inch of rain, none of it since the middle of May. I am surprised at the drought tolerance of this cultivar. It is a compact plant, but it would probably be larger with adequate water.
