Bought as a young plant from Trehane camellia nursey, UK in January 1999, this plant has quickly grown into a very attractive shape. It makes quite a neat Xmas tree shape, with ample medium to small, pointed fresh dark green, glossy leaves.
Flowers are an intriguingly soft pink, or dogrose pink, often appearing paler in the centre. Medium size, semi-double, and with a slight wavy appearance, I would have to say this is one of the best. The combination of attractive leaves, flowers, shape, vigour, and flowering reliability are hard to beat.
It's upright habit make this plant suitable for hedges, it also does well in a large container. zone 8a UK
