Easy to grow in a hot, dry bed next to my house in zone 6. My first planting self-seeded, and I didn't have to replant until the bed grew thin after a couple of years. Seed I'd saved didn't germinate nearly as well as fresh seed. I love this as a pot herb and also add it to salads. It imparts a good celery flavor without the tough strings. Flavor is stronger that ordinary celery, especially plants that have overwintered.

Looks just like parsley but tastes like celery use in soups, salads and garnish. The leaves are finely cut and resemble parsley. Sow from spring until mid/late summer outdoors when the soil is warm in situ or in trays/pots indoors. Plant out in full sun to partial shade 30 cm apart. For pot plants use 15-20cm pots keep moist.
