Formerly called Carousel, this chance seedling was found in a Dryden, Washington orchard in 1987. Fruits are shaped like Delicious with a red stripe over a yellow-light green undercolor. Fruit is medium to large, uniform in size and typiness, and have a long storage ability.

Susceptible to mildew and fire blight.

Cameo is harvested with Golden Delicious.

Parents are thought to be Red Delicious x Golden Delicious

One of my favorite fresh eating apples. It has a spicy, sweet flavor and crisp flesh.

I have not grown this plant, but would plant a tree in a heartbeat. With just a touch of care, apples are easy to grow and I have several trees. Culture is all the same.
