Growing single plant in a container aprox 12x10, planted in Cedar Grove potting soil early summer 2009. Growing on my deck in full morning sun, early afternoon sun, water when soil is drying. Plant thriving with minimal attention.

Plant about 10-12 inches tall with taller insignificant flower spikes, similar to but more attractive than heuchera/coral bells flowers. Just beginning to bloom early April. Last year, it bloomed periodically throughout the season. I do deadhead.

Evergreen in our mild Pacific Northwest marine climate.

Shiny green heart-shaped foliage with lighter green and bronzy mottling.

Will divide and repot this spring as it is crowding present pot.
