A beautiful cultivar of an excellent plant.

I have a 'Fascination' plant which has been growing, in a sunny location, in my own garden (zone 5A) for over five years.

The color of 'Fascination' includes pink or rose as well as violet-lavender.

I've noted fasciation of one flower spike, of my plant, in each of the last three years. Fasciation (not Fascination!) of a flower, is the elongation of its growing point, resulting in an enlarged flattened flower spike. Apparently 'Fascination', alone among the Veronicastrum cultivars, has an inherent tendency to fasciate.

A tough, good looking plant. Grows in areas that most other plants will fail to grow in. This cultivar bloomed in the worst possible soil, with hardly any light. I sincerely hope that it comes back next year.
