I bought one in Mariposa, CA knowing it should do well here in Vacaville, CA. I fell in love with this plant during a visit to Stinson Beach, CA and thought it was strictly a coastal plant. Because of our clay soil, I grow many variety of plants in pots. I've done the same with this Flannel bush. It is now covered with buds and doing well. It gets all the sun it needs, but will get watered a bit more being in a pot. So happy to have it in my collection.
