Vended by Seed Savers Exchange retail catalog.

This cucumber was developed by a home gardener and introduced by Joseph Harris & Co of Coldwater, NY in 1924.

This is a quote from the company.." The remarkable thing about this new cucumber is it's wonderful productiveness. For every pickle that is cut off, two or three more are produced."

5" to 6" fruits that are 2" in diameter. 50 to 60 days

edited to add..

I have now grown this cucumber to harvest, and can truthfully say, I have never seen such production! There are more flowers on these plants than I've seen on any cucumber and the hum from the bees while pollinating is quite loud.

It produces tons of beautiful 'pickler' type cucumbers that are straight and uniform in size. I prefer picklers to the salad type for fresh eating and these are sweet and tasty. I peel my pickle cukes because of the bitter skins that they all have, but the taste is wonderful.

I have changed my rating from neutral to positive because I can now reccomend this cucumber 100%
