A noxious weed. it completely took over the trough it was planted in over a two month period. The entire trough had to be dismantled and replanted. In a waste area near a compost pile, it would be fine. Planted in any other setting, all valuable garden plants nearby will be infiltrated and smothered in no time...BEWARE!!!!
