A hybrid of Silene virginica and Silene polypetala bred by the famed lobelia breeder, Mr. William Maness of Wildwood, Inc. this catchfly is more often than not sold as 'Rockin' Robin' although in a note to us, Mr. Maness listed it as 'Rocking Robin'
