Tubers are short oval with oval, regular, shallow eyes, yellow skin, yellow flesh.... Early productive variety, with good earliness of tuber development. The skin becomes rough and scaly with maturity." Primary use: Fresh market. Introduced in 1961 in Europe; parent of registered Canadian varieties Fambo and Obelix.
