I planted from a 4" plant, last summer, and this summer the plant is 4' x3' late this winter it started blooming, and is totally covered with lovely blooms, It is planted on west side on my home among other plants, that it has now overgrown.. I'm not sure just when to prune it back, It is starting to lean, but covered with blooms, so I have tied it up somewhat for now. It is very hot here in summer, but still only water a couple times a week, but it does have mulch around it.
