Classified as a tuberous begonia, this difficult to grow terrarium species is well worth the effort for those who enjoy the rare and obscure in the plant world. From Madagascar, this begonia may go dormant in the winter only to re-sprout from the tuber. It can be vegetatively propagated by leaf.
