Creole garlic is considered a seperate species from silverskins (seperate and unique DNA)--highly suitable and adapted to the south--gorgeous cloves. Harvests mid to late season, mild--yet full flavor--only moderate heat--grows better in warm climates than most varieties. Stores 7-8 months. No pests or disease problems in my garden...definitely my favorite garlic!
