'Middachten' is flowering in a very soft violet. It has the reputation to be more sensitive for moist conditions. But in the garden of nurseryman Roger Bastin (Dutch Collection Holder for the Genus Lavandula) it is growing on a leaky underground hose pipe...and it's happy on that spot. 'Middachten' is a Dutch introduction by Moerheim and named after Castle Middachten in Rheden.
