This is selection dervived as a withces' broom seedling. As of August 2005 The American Conifer Society does not recognize this as an 'established' cultivar, but rather a 'provisional' one meaning it should be labled as: Pinus strobus (Cockerton Flat Top) until such a time it is officially recognized.
