Graceful and lovely shade plant. Flowers off and on all year in tropics. Full shade or filtered sun. Will take up to half day sun but leaf edges burn and leaf colour fades to yellow. Likes a loose, rich soil that is consistently moist but not wet. Nice foliage even when not in bloom. In good conditions, spreads to about double the original area in one year.
