This is a very easy to grow annual. The flowers are deep purple and white, bright pink and white and yellow and white. It is a mounding plant and gets about 12 inches tall. It is good for edging. It requires nothing of me. It blooms all summer long in my hot, humid climate. It re-seeds but not aggressively and is easy to pull out or move to another location. The leaves are a bright green. My plants are in full sun in clay soil. I recommend this plant for your garden.

I discovered Torenia about 4 or 5 years ago when I bought this house. We just love it — it thrives in our horribly hot and humid summers, and also self-seeds. There's also a pink Torenia, but we prefer the blue. I can't say enough positive things about this plant. If you haven't tried growing it yet, do. You won't be disappointed.
