Started seeds 3/11/2008 in basement under lights, on heat mat. Had very good germination rate. They out grew their 6 pack cells so I potted them up to 3 inch pots, they did not require any pinching, started to branch out on their own. (see picture in file)
Planted 3 plants in to baskets (basket could take 4 ). Used Miracle Grow Moisture Control . Did not do anything else with these plants except water them and they gave me lovely baskets that bloomed till frost.
I saved some seeds, but probably will not come true since they are a hybrid but curious to see what I get.
May try a different color next season, also start a bit early as the plants were not in bloom when I set them out, but started blooming shortly after that.
