Purchased a few of these at end of the season sale. They were incredibly root-bound. I quartered each one with a butcher knife and planted. Beautiful plants the next spring and ever since. Foliage texture is very much like sandpaper. New plants have shown up near the parents and have been successfully transplanted. Does well under trees (part sun) in central Illinois.
