Slender dark burgundy flowers bloom all summer on reddish stems. A knockout for the sunny border. Hummingbirds love the masses of small red tubular flowers that have a long bloom time in summer.

Long-lived, easy, no-fuss plant.

A very lovely dark penstemon, and one that mixes well with many other plants due to its color......a gorgeous dark burgundy/maroon/purple. The white markings in the throat really stand out on this one!
