Central Phoenix -- I have Sansevieria francisii only in a medium-size pot. However, that pot stays outside in winter, protected only by being against a brick wall and under an overhang. It has survived quite a few freezes without damage. It gets almost complete shade and erratic watering. It has gone as long as 2 months in summer without water, with only a bit of leaf wrinkling.
