A very lovely small tree which was sold until recently by Heronswood Nursery. Its future availability may be in doubt. Nevertheless, another great snowbell, this one has smaller, finer foliage than Styrax japonicus. My plant is very young still, but it shows all the indications that it wants to grow more vertically and perhaps with a central leader. The flowers are very beautiful, small but numerous, and with recurving petals like Styrax americanus.
