I'm in north Florida and so far, so good. It came up from seed and is now about 11/2' tall. I love asparagus and had good luck with 'Victoria' and 'Mary Washington' in North Alabama. I wanted to try in this zone to grow asparagus and decided to try this 'new to me' heirloom. So far, it's handling the heat:)

Known as the the "White Asparagus of Argenteuil" in France's open markets dating back to the 1700's. It is both quite early with very large in regards to its spears in comparison to other varieties. A wonderful round top and purple scaled heirloom selection for blanching with a sweet taste.
