The Polar Star is a hardy vigorous climber, it is also known as Polestar, Polstjärnam, White Star of Finland, White Rose of Finland, The Wasa Star and Wasastiernan.

This rose can also be trained to make a spreading groundcover, rooting wherever it touches ground.
