Despite it's beautiful canes and leafs , it's principal carachteristic is that is one of the few bamboo variery , that is completly solid , not hollow as the 99% of bamboo varieties world wide.
This plant is also succsessful in locations with very cold , rainy and snow fall winter , as it's original weather in southern Chile , close to Los Andes Mountains.
