To day I cooked and ate Ula Ula Moano, {Taro I got from Jill] It was low in Calcium Crystals, and moist and rich,- excellent in every way, --[it is at least as good my favorite Kai Kea] -I ate the corm with just a good scrubbing with a stiff brush,steamed for 45 min, and there was no itch, so no further peeling was necessary. this is a great variety, --this is a good Poi and table variety.
The leaves are of good quality,and flavor, and after cooking for 30 min, were free of itch,
