Mikado is bred by Corn. Bak Bromeliaceae B.V. and Anthura has obtained worldwide selling rights. There is a patent on it.
Good substrate is Pindstrup type: Lettish soil with a pH value of 3.9 to 4.5, no basic fertilisiation.
Irrigation from bottom is recommended. Free of Chemical and visible contamination. Osmosis water is to be used.
Best temperature is 19-22 C.
