I find that tip cuttings with some semi-hardwood, about 6-8 inches long, root without much trouble. Also successful but rather slow from seed - the hard round shiny seed capsules need to be collected as soon as they come easily off the bush: if you wait for them to get ripe or go brown, not a lot happens! after collection leave a few days to get slightly crispy then break open and separate the seeds, wash them well and plant immediately.
