'Little Troll' crabapple is one of Fr. Fiala's selections in a series of new mini-fruited and modest sized trees. It is a small but very refined and graceful weeper to 12 ft high and as wide (3.5 m x 3.5 m). The foliage is dark green and disease resistant. The flower buds appear brilliant red and then open to single white flowers produced in abundant cascades. The bright orange-red firm and persistent fruit adorn the tree in the fall, and is relished by birds.

'Little Troll' is a wonderful addition to the very small mini-fruited crabapples for the landscape, and is a good crabapple for hybridizing weepers with mini-fruits.
