i started this variety last fall for my Mom, who is 78 years old. After many trips to 'The Big House,' bearing fresh sprigs, i decided to put part of it into one of her hanging clay pots. Up to this point, it has been growing beautifully in a 5 gal. container, so i separated and transplanted it. The original plant is about 36" tall, now, but i let it go to bloom, and now all i have is a GIANT stalk with a ga-jillion tiny little flower bunches... Anyway, the flavor IS fabulous, especially in dishes like parslied potatoes, but i haven't grown any other varieties, yet, so we'll see. The plant got plenty bushy, needing under-trimming occassionally, and didn't seem to resent large 'hanks' being torn out of one or another side of it. It does seem to need more water ~ i have it in full sun, and water it two or three times a week, otherwise it starts looking wilted.
