Love the color on this one! Fully covered with blooms and bright color. Blooms early to mid March in zone 8. Tolerates flash snow fall up to two inches even after flower has bloomed.

Hyacinthus orientalis 'Pink Royale' is a double mid pink. It blooms late--mid March in my Zone 9 garden. It has been very reliable and has bloomed for the last 4 years.

It was reportedly a double sport of 'Queen of the Pinks' and introduced in 1975.
