incredible, long-lasting cut flower; equally statuesque in the garden or container; 12"-18" tall; 8+ cm bulbs; zones 8-10.

Dense clusters of starry flowers appear on top of 12"-24" spikes, making it a valuable cut flower. It's also a valuable garden plant because its blossoms are so long lasting in the mid-late summer garden. Native to Europe, Asia and Africa, they are also smashing in patio planters with other summer flowering bulbs and annuals.
