I recently purchased a one-gallon specimen of "Vulcan" Hosta at a nationally-recognized garden center. It has done well, putting out several new leaves. But the new leaves are NOT white; they are chartreusse center with dark green edging.

Question: Is this normal? Will the new leaves turn white with time? Is this a reversion to earlier plant stock?
