Terrestrial orchid from China. Has a solitary, mid green, lance shaped, pleated leaf up to 6 inchs long which sprungs from the conical psuedobulb. Bears Bright yellow flowers with red spotting in the tube like lip.

Flowers between January and April.

Only borderline hardy and best grown in a cool greenhouse. Grow in shallow pans of terrestrial orchid compost and repot annually before flowering. Water freely through Srping and Summer until leaf dies off, feed at every 3rd watering, then keep just moist in full light. When dormant keep at approx 32F.
