Raised by Coen Jansen (Netherlands). 'Ankum's Pride' awarded an AGM at the 2005 RHS Geranium trial. 'Ankum's Pride' refers to Ankum, the little village where Coen Janssen lives and his nursery is situated. The variety is a seedling of Geranium sanguineum Jubilee Pink. 'Ankum's Pride' has vibrant pink flowers, the petals are veined red.The flowers appear over mounds of leafy stems which are low growing and well behaved. Ideal for sunny spots in the front of borders, or trailing over stone walls. Flowering from mid May to early August with a later second flush from late August.
