I entered hardiness zones for places I know this tree grows, Minnesota and Pennsylvania. Red fall color, and red twigs and petioles. New leaves in spring are red too, but the foliage is green the rest of the time.
Leaves similar to Acer rufinerve, A. barbinerve, and A. tschonoskii; toothed and palmate, with a longer middle lobe.
Native to Japan
