Here is what Richter's has to say about this mint:
"Jim Westerfield has come up with another winner, a new mint for the new millenium. A "feminine child of nature" is how Jim describes its soft foliage, its multitude of lavender flowers, and its soft minty aroma. Excellent in hanging baskets with its foliage spilling over the sides so that you cannot see the basket. Named after Clarissa Start, a popular garden and food columnist in St. Louis."
