Fruit: size medium, W69 x L57 mm; shaped flat, truncate-conic, convex ribbed at the calyx basin; Skin: pale greenish yellow, blushed and streaked brownish crimson. Flesh: fine, soft, creamy; flavor sweet subacid, juicy. Good dessert quality, excellent for pies, sauce, baking. Resembles Baldwin in shape and texture, but superior in flavor and beauty. Tree: medium, vigorous, upright, spreading, reliable annual bearer very productive, subject to powdery mildew which is readily eradicated by including sulfur in spray schedule to terminal growth.
