Fruit: size small, 45-55 mm; skin yellow-green; shape round-oblate; flesh firm, cream colored, watercore; flavor slightly acid; eating quality poor; harvest season very early, early August, 7 weeks before Delicious; worthless for commercial apple production. Tree: unproductive; reported to be very hardy to -47C. Very early ripening, yellow crabapple. |
